Unleashing the Talents...🎤🎶

She discussed about 'The Values of Education' .  It helps to build individual, social and cultural development , knowledge and also national integration.The way she express her ideas are really appreciable and they are on the dot too. We were eager about the new teacher and the class was very informative. December 03, 2021 MTTC is giving surprises day by day😊  Today the college gave us the opportunity to get acquainted with a telescope🔭.  Wow! the experience was excellent.  The embarrassment for viewing through a telescope for the first time was definitely there. December 05, 2021 I was very much waiting for the day, and today is the beginning of our talent hunt shows. The excitement to see our friends on the stage, to enjoy their creativities !    The day begin with the class of Dr. Archana Ma'am. She detailed the concept 'Psychology' and then introduced us the various schools of psychology namely structuralism, functionalism, gestalt psychology etc. The session was very informative, interactive and helped to create a strong base on the topic psychology. After the class, there was Holy Mass at the College Chapel. In the afternoon session , there came the most awaited one. The talent show of English and Mathematics optional!   The English optional students presented their ' Operation B.Ed ' and it was fabulous. 7th December 2021 Another cheerful day. First hour was dealt by our dear Gibi ma'am. As usual she entered the class with a beautiful smile and sack full of positive energy. The characteristics and scope of educational psychology was discussed in the class. It was very informative and interesting.  The next session was by Elizabeth ma'am. The topic was flower arrangement. It was my first experience to attend this class and it was very interesting. She explained the Japanese ideology behind the flower arrangement and also types of flower arrangement. She tried to familiarise us the rules in flower arrangement too. It was very informative. An educational institution like school or college must incorporate art, craft as well as cultural activities along with academics. Teachers have a great role in all these activities. Mttc, in-accordance with the NAAC visit gave us great chance to identify and express the artists in us. An art and craft room and other facilities were provided by the college authorities.The experience we had while doing the work was too good. We had an unclear idea about the art work before we were starting. As we have started, it became more interesting and the final result was more than our imagination. It remember me the lines,  ' Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun! 9th december 2021 This day was an absolute blissful one. On this day we had our first social visit and it was our first journey together as well.  We have got an opportunity to visit a rehabilitation centre named 'Santhi manthiram', Vattappara. It was the first time I was visiting such a place and it was a wish of mine too. “As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands: one for helping yourself, the other for helping others.”   Joju Sir and Gibi ma'am lead the team and after reaching there, I realised that Joju sir is their frequent visitor and it made the situations more flexible.        We presented our talents to entertain the members of Santhi manthiram and they were enjoying it. As I expected, the people there are extraordinarily talented. They sang songs for us. They smiled for us and I believe that the most basic thing we can do for other person is to smile. Towards making the soul happy!

December 02, 2021 Yoga has its etymological meaning union.  Yes! it's the union of soul, mind and the body.  '  Yoga is the journey of self, through the self, to the self '  The regular practise of yoga not only gives physical strength , it makes our mind peaceful and fill us with calm. Practising Yoga in the morning cherish the whole day and make us energetic. To make students mentally and physically strong, Mttc has arranged a Yoga practise in every week. It's demanded in our syllabus too. In the first Yoga class, our yoga master introduced the concept of yoga and the importance of yoga.  The discipline of yoga has now acquired worldwide acclaim as a self discipline technique, a healing art and a mind body discipline that can help you to achieve a holistic sense of wellness. The opportunity for practising the same was a good experience!

A step towards the art of communication

 December 02, 2021 Communication is the bridge between confusion and clarity . One of the important qualities a teacher should posses is also communication skill. In the competing world , communication in english is essential. As being an international language English has a very good role in our society too. To improve the language skills of students Mttc organised an induction programme by Dr.Asha. It was such a good interaction. Asha ma'am made the students comfortable for speaking in English. For that she gave different tasks and it include instant story telling in a group, talk before the class . Also she sang beautifully to cheerup the class. It was a very good session, which gave confidence and an  opportunity to introspect the communication skill we have in English. The first day of December and second day in college started with the assembly of Malayalam optional students. Starting with the college anthem , assembly included interesting programmes. Among those, the campus news was appreciable. As being World's AIDS Day , a speech on AIDS was there. This year the theme of the day is "End Inequalities, End AIDS" ,  highlighting the fact that as much as the virus itself, the social stigma attached with it also greatly affects people.   The malayalm association's name  'Pragathi ' and it's logo was revealed by the Principal. Their effort and presentation was good. Talents are meant to be shared. They became a good model for other optional students by donating books to the library.Another chance for self introduction was there for the new admissions.
