Centrifuge!!!!

On 30th June 2023,Taught Centrifugation and Chromatography in 8K and Viscosity in 9 B. used experiments to make the concepts more clear. Used three liquids( Water, honey, oil) to show the difference in there speed of flow and there by viscosity. In 8 K used the wokring model of centrifuge and showed students paper chromatography using filter paper and black ink. Working Model of Centrifuge

3rd week

The International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, or World Drug Day, is marked on 26 June every year to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving a world free of drug abuse. The aim of this year’s campaign is to raise awareness about the importance of treating people who use drugs with respect and empathy; providing evidence-based, voluntary services for all; offering alternatives to punishment; prioritizing prevention; and leading with compassion. The campaign also aims to combat stigma and discrimination against people who use drugs by promoting language and attitudes that are respectful and non-judgmental.   Highlights of the week... St.Mary's - Enthusiastic Second Week

National Reading Day is celebrated on June 19 in India to honour Puthuvayil Narayana Panicker, popularly known as PN Panicker. He was a renowned teacher and revered as the father of the library movement in Kerala. He died on June 19, 1995. In 1996, for the first time the Kerala Reading Day was celebrated on his death anniversary to pay tribute to him. Since then, it is celebrated on June 19 every year. In 2017, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared June 19 as the National Reading Day.  Highlights of the week.... Had classes in both 8K and 9B. PASCAL'S LAW

In 9B had class on the topic applications of Pascal's law. Showed the working model of Hydraulic Jack.Made students to understand the working of the same. Problems on Hydraulic jack were discussed. Gave the students activity cards and made their understanding more clear. The response of the students were great. They helped me by actively participating in the session. Working Model of Hydraulic Jack Got substitution in 8K in the 5th period. Conducted role play on the topic' States of Matter'. Characters were chosen randomly and activities were given to the pupils. Name cards and examples for each state were given. The overall session was excellent and the effort of students were great. No photos could take during the class and that was something disappointing during the session

FIRST SESSION

On Friday, I was given with two classes,8K and 9B. I had my first class on 8K in the 3rd period and discussed the topic 'Matter' from the chapter 'properties of matter'. Used slide presentation video and activity charts to introduce the topic to the students. Good resposnse was obtained from the class.Used experiments to show matter occupies space and has mass. made students to participate in the session. the next class was on 9B in the 6th period and there I started the class with the topic'Pascal's law'. used an experiment and videosto make the topic clear. Inferences were made from students and activities were done. The session was satisfactory.

FIRST DAY OF INTERNSHIP

Internship of last semester of B.Ed. life was at St.Mary's HSS , Pattom On the first day of teaching practice reached school by 9am, met the headmistress and Princepal. Received instructions regarding the school and its working. Principal of St. Mary's HSS, Pattom Headmistress of St. Mary's HSS, Pattom  As it was the first day, not that much of planned activities were there Got substition in 5O in the 4th period. Taught them basic science. For the first time I'm dealt with the up class and the experience was. superb Duties were assigned and got substitutionth 8 O, met the students interacted with them and physics portions were discussed." Evening line duty was there from 3.15 pm to 3.55 pm.
