For the purpose of curriculum of Edu 08 we were asked to prepare an assessment tool for students. We were liberal to choose the area for study and the age group of students.  Thus for the purpose I selected school students and my assessment tool is 'Eating Attitude Test'. This test will help us to find out various eating disorders and attitudes and then to identify the coming health as well as study issues for the students. Physical and mental well-being are  very much necessary for better academic performance and growth. This test will help to identify the issues in eating attitude and we can rectify them using proper measures.

The topic under discussion was different commissions on Indian education. The whole class was divided into different groups with atleast 10 members.  We mainly stressed on Kothari Commision and Mudhaliar Commission. It helped us to express our views and made us to understand the topic and concepts clear.  A good Group discussion has many advantages. It  improves our thinking, listening and speaking skills . It also promotes your confidence level. It is an effective tool in problem solving, decision making and personality assessment. GD skills may ensure academic success, popularity and good admission or job offer.

It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife.” — Kahlil Gibran Today, we had our first music class of sem 2 and it was lead by Lakshmi ma'am from Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya. In the class we were divided into 6 groups and I belonged to the 6th group named 'Agam' and Sreeja from Mathematics optional was selected as the group leader.  The class discussed about sapthaswarangal, ragas and then thalam. We learned Saralivarisha and aadhithalam in the class. Music always helps us to get relax. Today also the magic of music worked. We became relaxed on practicing music. 

Mar Theophilus Training College got an opportunity to collaborate with Vidhyabhyasa vikasa kendram, Kerala to conduct a National seminar on Psychology. The programme was conducted on 17th September, 2022 at 7pm via Google meet platform. The topic of discussion was ' Clinical Application of Indian Psychology' and was lead by Dr. VinodKumar M V ( Professor & HOD, Dept of Saniya Sanskrit and Sidhanta, VPSV Ayurveda College, Kottakkal)  It was really a great experience to listen to such a nice talk. The concept of mind and soul were clearly explained in the session. Very beneficial class! 

New batch of B.Ed 2022 officially started journey on September 15, 2022. MTTC welcomed the students with such a pleasant atmosphere.  Inter religious prayer was the main function co-ordinated by the authorities. Apart from that pooja dance and welcome song was also there. Our teachers and special guests blessed the new comers with their valuable words.  By lighting the lamps and candles the new batch with 50 charming prospective teachers became the members of MTTC family. Wishing all the very best for their course and teaching career😊

Mar Theophilus Training College conducted the Annual sports meet of 2022 on 13th and 14th of September this year   The students were divided into 3 houses- Ruby, Emerald & Sapphire and competitions were based on these houses.  Competitions included 50m, 100m , 400m athletics, 400m relay, shot put, javelin throw, long jump and discus throw.  I was the in the judging committe of discus throw and it was such a nice experience. Track marking and measuring also became familiar for us. The importance of participation also became evident through the meet. On 14th september the overall champions were announced and Ruby house secured the 1st position. 

Tonight witnessed an interesting sight. Yeah tonight we have Jupiter with our moon!🌝 Look how clear is the Jupiter and how pretty it looks.  On September 11, the largest planet in the solar system is seen next to the moon. On this day Jupiter and the moon will make a close approach to each other in the sky sharing the same right ascension, an astronomical arrangement known as a conjunction.  How much older I grow my interest in observing the sky and these events are also increasing!!🌛🌟

Onam is the festival of prosperity, unity and togetherness.Onam brings together a multitude of colours and flavours from across Kerala. MTTC on 1 September 2022, celebrated onam. College was decorated with flowers and the main attraction was the pookkalam. The another highlight of the day was megathiruvathira arranged by the students and teachers. It included more 50 women participants. Traditional art forms and games are also there along with the cultural events. elaborate sumptuous feasts (Onasadya) ending with delicious payasam (Kerala dessert) made the celebration complete. The day ensured that the message of oneness and hope is spread far and wide.
