An enthusiastic day @ Sarvodaya Central vidyalaya

The second day at Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya! We used the day to explore the annual class magazines of this year. Four of us were assigned to evaluate their class magazines and to decide the winners. It was such a great opportunity for us. The quality of the magazines were outstanding.

The students under an age of 18 had created magic with their talents.👏

The topics they have selected and the way they used to present it were excellent. Really happy to see their talents, their social commitment, their opinions and concerns about the social issues!😊

The had soft copies as well as hard copies for their magazines. With help of flipbook software, they have done a very good work.

Also we got opportunities to observe classes. The teacher introduced the topic magnetic effects of current. The teacher introduced the topic with the help of smart board and she used videos and PowerPoint presentation for the class. It made the class more interesting. Since it was the first class,students were highly energetic and they actively participated in the class.

The use of smart board attracted us and as per our request the school gave us an opportunity to get acquainted with smart board and the software installed in it.

It was really a purposeful day!☺️😊😊

The flow of time. Black holes. Time travel !

My inner mind is so happy because I finally read this book. The last book I have read in 2021! I decided, after looking at the books I read in 2021 that I needed to read a science book apart from fictions I always prefer. So picked this up and I was not disappointed. From the beginning of the universe, A BRIEF HISTORY OF TIME takes you on a journey that is very special, it describes in a very easy way how we got to understand the world and all the rules that govern the universe. It also explores the beginning of the universe, black holes, time travel. With the cheekiness of Stephen Hawking’s writing, you get to understand topic that are very complex and sometimes confusing, physics is somewhat a difficult area of science, but one that is amazingly interesting. Hawking makes you fall in love with his work, his theory and physics. I won’t lie, it’s a hard book to read. It gets heavy at some points but it’s easy to read too, I mean it’s not a textbook. ...

ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം പോലെ!🖤

പെരുമ്പടവം ശ്രീധരന്റെ അനശ്വരമായ കൃതി. വായിക്കാൻ കൊതിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട് ഒത്തിരി നാളായതുകൊണ്ടാകും വായിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഇതിനെപ്പറ്റി എഴുതാതിരിക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്തത്. അന്നയുടെയും ഫയോദറിന്റെയും മനോഹരമായ പ്രണയം വിവരിക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെ?! ദസ്തവയെസ്കിയുടെ ജീവിതത്തിലെ 23 ദിനങ്ങൾ- ചുരുക്കത്തിൽ അതാണീ രചന. എങ്കിലും കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളുടെ മാനസിക സംഘർഷങ്ങളും സംഭവവികാസങ്ങളും ഒട്ടും നിറം ചോരാതെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് പെരുമ്പടവം. ജീവിതയഥാർഥ്യങ്ങളുടെ ചുട്ടുപൊള്ളിക്കുന്ന ആവർത്തനമാണ് ഫയോദറിന്റെ ജീവിതവും രചനകളും. തീർത്തും ഏകാകിയായി എക്കാലവും വിഷമസന്ധികളെ മാത്രം അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കേണ്ടി വന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ- ഫയോദർ ദസ്തവയെസ്കി. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഇരുളടഞ്ഞ ജീവിതത്തിലേക്കെത്തുന്ന അന്ന എന്ന സ്റ്റേനോഗ്രാഫർ. എല്ലാവരും പൂർണ പരാജയം എന്നെഴുതിത്തള്ളുന്ന ജീവിതം അന്നയിലൂടെ വീണ്ടും തളിർക്കുന്നു. 25 വയസ്സിന്റെ പ്രായക്കൂടുതൽ വകവെയ്ക്കാതെ പ്രണയത്തിന്റെ വലയത്തിനൊരിക്കലും സാമൂഹിക ബന്ധനങ്ങൾ തടസമേയല്ല എന്ന് മനസിലാക്കിക്കുന്ന അന്ന. അതെ, സ്നേഹം തേടുന്നത് സ്നേഹത്തെ മാത്രമാണ്. പതിനെട്ടാം വയസ്സിൽ അവിചാരിതമായി കിട്ടിയ 'കുറ്റവു...

സോന!!

ബസ് നീങ്ങിത്തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ സീറ്റിലിരിക്കാൻ തത്രപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു കുഞ്ഞിപ്പെൺകുട്ടി അതായിരുന്നു എനിക്കാദ്യം സോന. കൗതുകത്തോടെ ജനലോരത്തേക്ക് നോക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന ആ കുഞ്ഞിപെണ്ണിനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ പേര് ചോദിക്കാതിരിക്കാനായില്ല. "സോന" എന്നവൾ മധുരമായി പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോഴേക്കും മുന്നിൽ വന്ന കണ്ടക്ടറിന് 20 രൂപ നീട്ടി ടിക്കറ്റും വാങ്ങി മിടുക്കി. കണ്ട എനിക്കാകെ സംശയമായി, കുഞ്ഞിനെ അയാൾ പത്തിന് പകരം ഇരുപതു വാങ്ങി പറ്റിച്ചോ. ആ സംശയത്തോടെ അവളോട് എവിടെയാ ഇറങ്ങുന്നെ എന്നു ചോദിക്കുന്നതിനിടയിൽ തഞ്ചത്തിൽ ടിക്കറ്റിലേക്കൊന്നു പാളി നോക്കി. രണ്ടു പേരോ? ഇടം പറഞ്ഞ അവളോട് പിന്നേയും കൂടെ വേറെ ആരാ എന്നു ചോദിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഉത്തരമറിയാൻ എനിക്കാകെ തിടുക്കമായി."ചേട്ടനുണ്ട് പുറകിൽ" ചേട്ടനെ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി അപ്പോഴേക്കും സോന. അവളുടെ നിറഞ്ഞ ചിരി... ആർക്കും വാത്സല്യം തോന്നിപ്പോകുന്ന ചിരി. അന്നു ബസ് ഇറങ്ങുന്നതുവരെ പിന്നെയും പങ്കിട്ടു ചില വിശേഷങ്ങൾ ...അഞ്ചാം ക്ലാസ്സിലെ സോനയുടെയും പത്താം ക്ലാസ്സിലെ ചേട്ടന്റെയും വിശേഷങ്ങൾ! രണ്ടു ദിവസങ്ങൾക്കിപ്പുറം അവിചാരിതമായി ഒരു ബസ് സ്റ്റോപ്പിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവിടെ സോനയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു... മുഷിഞ്ഞു പോയ യ...

ഓർമകളിലെ കാലിച്ചായ വൈകുന്നേരം തീരെ പതിവില്ലാതെ അടുക്കളയിലെ അടച്ചു വച്ച പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ പരതിയപ്പോൾ കണ്ടെത്തിയ തണുത്തു വിറങ്ങലിച്ച കട്ടൻ ചായ ഒരു ചില്ലു ഗ്ലാസിൽ പകർന്നെടുത്തു പതിയെ മുറ്റത്തേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങി. ഒരിറക്കു ഉള്ളിലേക്ക് എത്തുമ്പോൾ രസമുകുളങ്ങൾ എന്നോ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു പോയ യജമാനനെ കണ്ട ശ്വാനനെപ്പോലെയായി. പണ്ട് വിരുന്നുകാരിയായി അമ്മ വീട്ടിൽ എത്തുമ്പോൾ അമ്മൂമ്മ പകർന്നു തരുന്ന അതേ മധുരം. ഞങ്ങളെത്തുന്ന ദിവസം അതിരാവിലെ തന്നെ തയ്യാറാക്കി ചൂടാറാതിരിക്കാൻ തെർമൽ ഫ്ലാസ്കിലാക്കി വയ്ക്കുന്ന വെറും ചായയുടെ ബാക്കി ഇത്തിരി സ്റ്റീൽ ജഗ്ഗിലും ഇടം പിടിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടാകും. ഇനി വിരുന്നുകാരെത്തിയാലോ വണ്ടിയിൽ നിന്നിറങ്ങി പാലം കയറി ഓടി പോകുന്നതും അടുക്കളയിലേക്ക് തന്നെ. അപ്പോൾ മാത്രം, ആ അടുക്കളയിൽ മാത്രം, പൊതുവെ ചായ പ്രിയ അല്ലാത്ത എന്നെ അന്നും ഭ്രമിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നത് ആ സ്റ്റീൽ ജഗ്ഗിലെ ആറിതണുത്ത കാലിചായയായിരുന്നു. മറ്റെവിടെന്നും ഇന്നോളം കടുപ്പമേറിയ, നുറുങ്ങു വിശേങ്ങളുമായി അടുക്കള തിണ്ണയിലിരുന്നു നുകർന്ന ആ സ്വാദറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. പക്ഷെ നിനച്ചിരിക്കാതെ അതിന്നെന്നെ തേടി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു... ചെമ്മണ്ണിന്റ...

February 13, 2022 February 11 is the International day for Women and Girls in Science. ( This blog was there in my draft for the past 2 months. Today I came to check my draft accidentally and found this. On reading, decided to publish this one.
